The Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission was suffering with an aging website that was managed via the outdated CMS, Adobe Contribute. Handling a site of this magnitude via static HTML pages is a painful experience.
Electric Playground designed a custom theme and integrated Joomla CMS to help tame the beast that was the massive library of content generated over the years. Our client worked really hard to parse through the old site and provided us with a streamlined version of the content they wished to preserve.
We implemented a more organized method of categorizing and publishing content, and focused on making the site easier to navigate. We did this with a multi level menu and improved search functionality, as well as making the site mobile friendly.
The next phase of this project is to redevelop the commission’s licensing software by migrating them to Electric Playground’s Guild platform for regulated professions.
